My Testimony

At age 17, at a Sunday night service at my Methodist Church, a hippie youth guest speaker spoke about a personal relationship with Jesus. I knew about God but didn't know him in a personal way. I tried to be a good person but always fell short! My twin sister and I prayed in faith, the prayer of salvation. I woke up knowing Jesus was with me the following day, and I knew I would never feel empty or alone again. I felt so joyful, energetic, and alive! I felt like jumping over a mountain! I noticed I had compassion in my heart, wanting everyone to experience the joy of my salvation.

Romans 6:23 NLT For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus, My Saviour

Because of my praying for the healing of cancer for my husband, and for the devastation in our family caused by our son's felony DUI accident, I can genuinely say through it all, I learned to trust in Jesus and take him at His Word.

My son, Brian, had this Bible verse plaque hanging on his bedroom door. The name Brian on the plaque means strength and virtue.

"Group of Ten" Prayer Group From Around The World

In the fall of 2019, I joined a prayer "Group of Ten" from around the world. We call our teacher and mentor, Dr. Showalter Johnson, the "Soul Doctor." Prayer brings healing to our minds and emotions within the soul and to our bodies. As a newly ordained minister in November 2021, I want to share with others the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Luke 17:21: Behold the Kingdom of God is within you.

John 18:36 Jesus said, My Kingdom is not of this world.
